Aoyama Yoshino (青山 吉能, born May 15, 1996) is a Japanese seiyuu and singer from Kumamoto Prefecture. Aspiring to be a singer in middle school, she ended up learning to voice act and dance when getting her first main role as the model and cool beauty Yoshino Nanase in an idol anime called Wake Up, Girls! where she also performed in a seiyuu idol group also named Wake Up, Girls! and served as the group's leader. She is a member of the seiyuu idol unit Kessoku Band (2022+) related to the anime Bocchi the Rock! (2022).

In 2015, she won a Special Award at the 9th Seiyu Awards for Wake Up, Girls! along with fellow members Tanaka Minami and Yoshioka Mayu.

Took a brief one month hiatus in early March 2020 for health reasons.

Music career[]

The start of her music career was also her first seiyuu role with the seiyuu idol unit Wake Up, Girls! (2014 to 2018) related to the anime Wake Up, Girls! (2014+). With the group, she released 9 singles with all of them reaching the the top 40 of the Oricon singles charts and the first two peaking at #18 and #19. The group also did a collaboration single with the singer May'n which reached #18 on the Oricon singles chart. The group held many solo and joint live events from 2014 to 2018.

Recently she joined the seiyuu idol unit Kessoku Band (2022+) which has been extremely successful in its initial foray. Their first album also named Kessoku Band (2022) reached #1 on three of Oricon's album charts (weekly total, weekly CD charts, and weekly digital) and BILLBOARD Japan's Weekly Hot Albums and Download Albums chart. A single Seishun Complex (『青春コンプレックス』) has reached #19 on the Oricon weekly singles chart and #17 on the digital singles chart.

She was a member of the seiyuu idol unit SMILE PRINCESS (2021 to 2022) related to the anime Puraore! Pride of Orange (2021). She was a member of the seiyuu idol unit Tokimeki Idol project (2019 to 2021) related to the mobile game Tokimeki Idol (2018 to 2019). She was a member of the seiyuu idol unit Yunohana Senbatsu (2019-only?) related to the Onsen Musume (2016+) regional revitalization cross-media project.. She was a member of the coed seiyuu idol unit D-selections (2016 to 2019) along side fellow WUGer Yoshioka Mayu related to the anime Hundred (2016).
